Questions to Consider
For your application for an A.L.T. Vroom Content License, you will want to think through who in your organization will take on different parts of the adaptation process and which parts of your organization will be involved.
You will want to consider the following questions:
- What skills does our organization internally have that we can leverage?
- Do we have the capacity and funding we need to commit to a quality adaptation?
- Are there Vroom resources, other than Vroom Tips, that we can adapt and use in our work?
- Will we need external expertise?
- Should we adjust our adaptation efforts up or down based on our answers to the questions above?
- Who will be involved in decision-making and implementation, and how?
- Do I as an individual have the skills and resources I need to facilitate the adaptation?
- What timelines and budgets will affect our Adaption Plan?
A Sample Activation Plan
You should now be thinking beyond how to adapt Vroom Content, and be thinking about how you are going to use it as well. Each organization will find the right way to develop their own activation plan and find the right approach that fits their approach. If you are looking for a place to start, though, below is an example of the planning process suggested by ChildCare Aware of America. This document is intended to help local and regional Child Care Resource & Referral agencies think about how to activate Vroom in their communities.
