By the end, you will understand how to apply for an Adaptation, Localization and Translation (A.L.T.) Content License. If your application is approved, you’ll be prepared to begin adaptation. 

This Toolkit will help you and your organization learn how Vroom Content adaptation works.

About the Toolkit

A sample version of the Adaptation, Localization and Translation (A.L.T.) Content License can be found here. You will not be granted an A.L.T. Content License until you have completed this Toolkit and applied for a license using the application form at the end of Module 4. We are sharing this sample document to allow you to get a feel for the terms of use for Vroom Content as assigned by the Bezos Family Foundation and Vroom.

## This Toolkit has 4 Modules. They are:

- Module 2: Vroom in Context: The WHO, WHAT, WHERE, and WHY 
- Module 3: Adapting Vroom Content: The HOW

You can go back and review or repeat sections as often as you want. Each Module has lots of questions for you to answer as you go along to be sure everything is making sense.

We estimate it should take about four to six hours to get through all the modules if you did it all at once. That said, your progress will save automatically (see notes below) and you can come back at any time, so we highly recommend that you go at a slower pace, involve other stakeholders at your organization, and generally take your time and work thoughtfully. Occasionally you will be asked to provide answers to short questions or respond to a short quiz. Some of these answers will be submitted to the Vroom team for consideration with your application, others are simply for your own benefit and you can revisit them, if helpful, for your application or work plan.

Getting Started

To ensure your progress is saved as work through the Licensing Toolkit here are a __few key things to keep in mind__: 

- The Toolkit must be completed using the __same device and browser__ as when first initiated.
- __Do not__ use private or incognito browsing modes or clear your browser’s cache. 
- If you leave and exit the application, upon return you will start at the beginning of the form. It will remember your answers though and allow you to either change them or click through to next question and see or change any responses you entered earlier.
